Nail fungus (also known as Onychomycosis) is made up of tiny organisms (Tinea Unguium) that can infect fingernails and toenails. The nails of our fingers and toes are very effective barriers. While this usually just makes it difficult for an infection to invade the nail, the barriers can work just as hard to keep infections inside the nail once they've invaded. Listerene and alcohol won't help you need to see podiatrist or health care provider and get on some medication for fungus. I've heard of a Zetclear its all natural homeopathic solution that will help you get rid of your nail fungus withing week, http://www.zetaclear.com/?aid=478036 Good luckNail fungus and treatment?
Sorry, honey, but the listerine and rubbing alcohol won't help. If you can't go to the doctor, you need to go to your local drug store and ask the pharmacist for some anti-fungal creams. Many of these are only partially effective, but a prescribed ointment usually works.

The nail will grow.
I had the start of a nail fungus on my toe too, and I did a lot of research. I found a good website that explained a lot about nail fungus, and how to treat nail fungus. I don't think that rubbing alcohol is going to help, but you might want to look at http://www.treatnailfungus.net and see what that guy did. My friend referred me to it, and he said the product there really worked for him, cleared up his nail fungus in a couple of weeks.
